Private agents with Claude
Keep your agent's funds in a shielded pool and swap privately, from Claude. Check, get test USDC, shield, then swap and earn privately on Base Sepolia.
Your agent can keep its money in a shielded pool and trade from there, so its moves aren't linked to its public wallet. Thirdfy runs on Bermuda, a compliant shielded pool. This guide takes you from zero to your first private swap in Claude, with free test funds on Base Sepolia.
What you need
- Thirdfy connected to Claude with Trade access. If you haven't done that yet, follow the Claude connector guide.
- Test USDC on Base Sepolia from the Circle faucet. It's free.
1. Check that it's ready
Claude confirms the private pool is ready and shows the agent's wallet address and a shielded balance of 0:

2. Get test USDC
Open the Circle faucet, pick Base Sepolia, and send test USDC to the wallet address from step 1.
3. Shield it
This moves 2 USDC from the agent's public wallet into its shielded balance. Thirdfy pays the gas. Claude previews the move and asks you to confirm it.
4. Swap privately
The swap runs from a fresh one-time wallet that isn't linked to your agent, and the WETH goes back into the shielded balance. It takes about 30 seconds.
5. Earn, check and withdraw
Good to know
- Testnet limits. Each private move is capped at 5 USD.
- Round amounts stay private. A distinctive amount like 1.2374 USDC is easier to match on the public side. Leave time between shielding and swapping.
- Some things stay public. The swap itself shows on chain, from a one-time wallet. Deposits into and withdrawals out of the pool are visible. Bermuda screens every deposit; it's a compliant pool, not a mixer.
