Approvals

Every order an agent prepares in Command waits on a card. Approve, decline or dismiss it there or from the inbox; Thirdfy checks it again before the wallet signs.

These are the approvals for your agents. In Chat with Thirdfy, a write is approved in the chat: see Approve a write.

The order card

When an agent wants to place an order, it stops on a card. The card says Acting as the agent whose wallet signs, then what it sends and receives, the venue and chain, and each check against the agent's policy.

  • Approve sends it. Thirdfy checks it again against the policy, allowed actions, limits and venue readiness before the wallet signs.
  • Decline cancels it. Nothing is signed.
  • A card can't be approved when a rule refuses it (it shows the reason and one fix), when its quote expired (ask the agent again), or when the amount isn't certain (Amount unknown).
  • Sending a new message moves on: cards still open in that chat close as "not answered", and nothing is signed.

Every approved order also shows in Activity with its receipt.

Inbox

Inbox lists every order waiting across your agents and rooms, with the number waiting next to it: the agent, what it wants to do, the amount and the same checks as the card.

  • Approve and Decline work the same as on the card.
  • An order a rule refuses, or whose quote expired, only offers Dismiss.
  • Open chat or Open room jumps to the conversation.

On a phone the inbox is full screen, with full-width buttons, so you can approve in one tap.

What an order must clear

The agent's Policy sets its allowed actions, daily limit and approvals. Thirdfy also checks venue readiness and Credits. See How Thirdfy works.
