Credits and balance
USD execution balance, LLM models in Command, free requests, and USDC top-up on Base.
Thirdfy shows your execution balance in USD in Console and on thirdfy.com/credits. Credits remain the internal ledger unit. Every user gets 20 free requests per day on eligible models.
Where balance appears
| Surface | What you see |
|---|---|
| Command | Approximate USD charge per paid turn; free-request usage on the free tier |
| Model picker | Estimated USD per turn for each model before you send |
| Console Credits tab | Available USD and top-up entry points |
| Credits hub | Balance, history, coupons, and manual USDC top-up |

LLM models in Command
Pick a model from the selector in Command. Each model has a tier, an estimated USD per turn, and whether it counts against your free daily requests.
| Model | Tier | Typical use | Free tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| GPT-4o Mini | Economy | Balances, quotes, routine reads, simple swaps | Yes (counts toward 20 free requests/day) |
| Claude Sonnet 4.6 | Premium | Multi-step planning, automation design, complex venue setup | No (paid balance required) |
Approximate retail display per turn (before tool surcharges):
| Model | ~USD / turn |
|---|---|
| GPT-4o Mini | ~$0.04 |
| Claude Sonnet 4.6 | ~$0.09 |
Actual charges depend on tokens used, tool calls, and catalog pricing. After each paid turn, Command shows the USD charged for that message in the thread footer.
When to use which model
- Economy: Quick balance checks, single-action quotes, Help Hub prompts, and day-to-day operator questions.
- Premium: Automation creation, multi-venue planning, high-notional writes, leverage or perps context, and anything that needs longer reasoning.
Command may recommend premium for deeper planning. It does not switch models without your choice in the picker.
What uses balance
- Paid Command turns on models that are not covered by free requests
- Tool calls during a turn (catalog may add a small surcharge on premium)
- Automation runs (each scheduled execution bills like a Command turn)
Gas for compliant on-chain execution is sponsored by the platform. Your balance pays for model and tool usage, not network gas on supported lanes.
Adding funds
- In Command: Confirm a preset ($10, $25, or $50) or a custom whole-dollar amount. Command completes USDC on Base when signing is available.
- Credits hub: Manual top-up, coupons, and purchase history.
- External wallet: If chat cannot sign in one step, finish on the Credits hub.
Payment: USDC on Base only for this launch. TFY checkout is not available yet.
Top-up presets
| Preset | Amount |
|---|---|
| Starter | $10 (topup_usd_10) |
| Popular | $25 (topup_usd_25) |
| Power | $50 (topup_usd_50) |
Custom whole-dollar top-ups from $10 to $1,000 use topup_usd_{amount} (for example topup_usd_100).
Internal credits convert at $0.018 per credit for balance display. That rate is for UI consistency; per-turn footer uses catalog hints above.
Free tier
Every user gets 20 free requests per day on economy-eligible models. Try Command and read-only flows before you add funds. Free users see free requests remaining instead of a USD balance until they top up.
Premium models always draw from paid balance.
